I will not pause dramatically – the problem is a lack of time.
Once, I was listening to a very nice lecture of the European cardiologist. By the way, he believes in lifestyle medicine approach.
His lecture was about healthy habits for cardio-vascular patients.
I asked him when he worked with his patients? During outpatient visits?
I would like to notice one thing briefly: he is interventional cardiologist (he performs stenting for patients with myocardial infarction and angina) in hospital and he has outpatient appointments in this hospital too.
-I don’t have enough time for that, due to only 20 min per patient visit.
-When do you educate your patients?
-During outpatients visit when I work in private practice….
